OneChiropractic has launched a campaign calling on the profession to extinguish
misinformation and scaremongering.
Founder and executive director Bharon Hoag said the organization’s fight for the
freedom and rights of chiropractors worldwide is as important now as it has ever been,
because attacks on the profession are only increasing. “The Chiropractic Defense
Council is a chiropractor’s first line of defense, like a firehose extinguishing a fire before
it spreads across the planet, because that is what will happen if we do not protect our
profession.”
The CDC, which falls under OneChiropractic, supports chiropractors in their efforts to
perform their job effectively and focuses on the ground level in each country.
“No matter where our profession is attacked, the fight needs resources, and
OneChiropractic provides an easy way to do this: OneChiropractic and the CDC are
ready, willing, and able to do the work,” said Bharon.
OneChiropractic was launched in 2021 and remains steadfast in its mission to defend
chiropractic rights, advocate for favorable policies worldwide, and promote the adoption
of chiropractic care.
Currently, the CDC is fighting several legal battles in these countries, including
challenging restrictive legislation in the US, defending against professional defamation
in Canada, and advocating for fair licensing practices in New Zealand and Australia.
Through its ‘fire teams,’ OneChiropractic and the Chiropractic Defense Council (CDC)
are actively involved in defending the profession in the US, Canada, New Zealand, and
Australia.
Fire teams are dedicated groups of chiropractors and supporters on the ground.
“We need the profession to help us build fire teams, educate chiropractors, engage
associations, and influence the licensing boards,” said Bharon. “Without proactive
defense, today’s stability becomes tomorrow’s vulnerability. Join the fight now and be a
part of the solution.”
